Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the Avora website and application (together, “the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Use of the Service

Avora provides a private digital legacy planning guide. You may use the Service for personal, lawful purposes only. You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to create an account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the accuracy of the information in your guide, and for the nomination of a trusted contact. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to your account.

3. Data handling

We handle your data in line with our privacy policy. Avora is not a legal instrument and does not replace a will, power of attorney, or other legal document. You are responsible for ensuring that any legal documents you reference in your guide exist and are valid.

4. Trusted contact access

Access to your guide by a nominated trusted contact will only be released after a verification process designed to confirm the request is genuine. You acknowledge that no verification process is perfect and that Avora is not liable for misuse by a person you have nominated.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avora’s liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or are used unlawfully.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
